Over 100 kilometres of mountain trails, the Balkans revealed themselves slowly. Through remote valleys, quiet villages and the long stretches between destinations, the journey became as much about the people and small encounters along the way as the landscape itself.
Photographed along the route through Albania and Montenegro, this collection documents a journey through a part of Europe where place, tradition and everyday life remain closely intertwined.
Rather than simply recording where the trail led, the intention was to pay attention to what unfolded along it: the details, the moments of connection and the character of a place experienced on foot.
