Pia Bacino is a photographer, writer and visual storyteller drawn to the stories behind the images and the people behind the places. Moving between commissioned projects and personal explorations, her work is guided by a curiosity about how we see the world, how we connect with one another, and what we can learn from the lives of others.
From remote communities and conservation efforts to the people finding thoughtful, unconventional ways to live, she is interested in stories that reveal something deeper about our relationship with ourselves, one another and the natural world. Through photography and writing, she hopes to bring these perspectives a little closer, inviting us to look beyond our own experience, reconsider what matters, and imagine more connected ways of living.
