I've always been curious about the world, and perhaps even more curious about the people in it. The things that shape us, the stories we carry, the ways we see things differently, and the little moments that somehow end up meaning the most.
My path into photography wasn't entirely straightforward. With a background spanning professional writing, animation, marketing, brand design and business, I've followed a number of different interests over the years. Looking back, they all share a common thread: a fascination with how we communicate, how ideas take shape, and how creative work can make us see or feel something differently.
I'm particularly drawn to the relationship between images and stories. How a photograph can communicate something words cannot. How a visual identity can tell you what a brand stands for before you've read a single sentence. How a story, a film, a piece of art or even a fleeting moment can find you at exactly the right time and leave you looking at something a little differently.
This space brings together the work I make with others, the stories I pursue for myself, the things I'm learning along the way, and the ideas that don't always fit neatly into a category. It's a place to follow my curiosity, collect the things that catch my attention, and make sense of what I find along the way.
After all, some of the things that stay with us longest are the things that help us see the world, or ourselves, a little differently.
